One saucisson in France. Two friends in Assam. And a promise that snacking in India would never have to be boring again.
Two friends.
One suitcase problem.
In 2014, co-founder Gaurav landed in France and took his first bite of a saucisson. It was love at first bite — an experience repeated over and over as he ate his way across Europe's food scene.
For years afterwards, every trip home meant the same thing: suitcases packed full of chorizo and saucisson for his buddy Nirab back in Assam. That contraband cargo is how PLB won the heart of its second co-founder.
Two years of intensive R&D, hundreds of kilograms of test batches and thousands of hours of curing later — PLB was born.
